After self-releasing our debut album Potluck in March of 2020, we found ourselves in a period of social isolation, spending months playing socially-distanced outside and writing new songs that would form our second album "Junk." The 8-song album includes instrumental and vocal songs that reflect the “junk” we experienced throughout this period—the loneliness of living through a pandemic, frustration of being chronically online, and discomfort with self-promoting music in a chaotic local and global context—and also the joy we find in creating music together.
